Reynolds' Raptor's News #18

Hello Everyone!!

I can't believe we've been in school 102 days!!  78 more to go!!  We are preparing for the writing tests that are coming upon us Wednesday, February 11 and Wednesday, February 18.  Please a make sure your child attends school on both of those days.

Homework Club:  Because of the lack of math homework that is being turned in on time, I've decided to create a "Homework Club."  Those who turn in every Math Homework page during the month, will be able to eat lunch, with me in our room!  I will be very strict about who gets to participate.  There can not even be one Math assignment missing, in order to qualify!!  I'm hoping this will inspire all students to do their M.H.W. each night!

Birthdays:  January 26, Gabe,  February 2, Zoe 1/2,  February 4, Keisha,  February 6, Cachagua, February 17, Megan 1/2  Happy Birthday!!!

Science: " The Water Cycle"  Because the District Science Fair, has been cancelled, all 4th and 5th grade students will still be required to do a "In School" Science Fair Project.  However, they will not be judged.  There are 4 categories that the students may choose from: A  Project, Experiment, Invention, or Informational Report.  The students will present their project in individual classrooms, then set up in the gym for others to observe and enjoy.  This will double as an Informational Book Report for the month of March!  More information will be sent home by February 17!
